Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Organic Growth Strategy (SEO + GEO)

  • Own and drive end-to-end SEO strategy across technical, on-page, and off-page levers
  • Build and execute GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) strategy to improve visibility across AI search platforms (e.g., SGE, Chat-based discovery)
  • Identify high-impact keyword clusters and search trends across category, local, and transactional queries
  • Drive topical authority and long-term organic growth

2. Content Strategy & Execution

  • Lead content strategy across blogs, landing pages, guides, videos, and UGC
  • Build scalable content engines aligned with user intent (informational → commercial → transactional)
  • Partner with design and product teams to create conversion-driven content experiences
  • Ensure content quality, relevance, and consistency with brand voice

3. Technical SEO & Website Optimization

  • Work with engineering teams to improve site architecture, crawlability, indexing, and page speed
  • Implement structured data, schema, and internal linking frameworks
  • Drive SEO best practices across web and app ecosystems

4. Performance Tracking & Analytics

  • Define and track key metrics: organic traffic, keyword rankings, impressions, CTR, conversions, and revenue contribution
  • Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush for insights and optimization
  • Build dashboards and present actionable insights to leadership

5. Experimentation & Growth

  • Run continuous experiments on content formats, SERP features, and AI-driven discovery channels
  • Identify emerging trends (voice search, AI summaries, zero-click searches) and adapt strategies accordingly
  • Optimize for conversion from organic traffic, not just traffic volume

6. Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead and mentor a team of SEO specialists, content strategists, and writers
  • Collaborate with product, design, performance marketing, and CRM teams
  • Manage external agencies, freelancers, and content vendors

Qualifications

  • 6–10 years of experience in SEO, content marketing, and organic growth roles
  • Strong expertise in technical SEO, keyword strategy, and content scaling
  • Hands-on experience with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush) and analytics platforms
  • Proven track record of driving organic traffic growth and revenue impact
  • Understanding of AI-led search evolution and GEO strategies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good to Have

  • Experience in high-consideration categories (home interiors, real estate, e-commerce, marketplaces)
  • Exposure to local SEO and city-level content scaling
  • Familiarity with programmatic SEO and automation tools
  • Experience with video and visual content strategies (YouTube, Pinterest)
