About the Role
Tessell is hiring a senior digital marketer to own the full demand generation engine - from paid to email to AI search visibility. You'll be the person who connects marketing activity to pipeline, owns the numbers, and makes sure every campaign has a clear path to revenue. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution - you'll build the system and run it.
This role reports to the Head of Marketing, who's based in Bangalore, India.
What You'll Own
- Paid media strategy and execution (LinkedIn, intent-based platforms, maybe Google later)
- Website performance - traffic, conversion, and ongoing optimization in coordination with the website revamp
- SEO strategy and AI search visibility (ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews)
- Email nurture programs and marketing automation in HubSpot
- Campaign reporting and lead-to-pipeline tracking
- MQL definition, scoring, and handoff process with Sales
What We're Looking For
- 5-8 years in demand gen or digital marketing in a B2B SaaS or infrastructure company
- Strong HubSpot user - automation, reporting, lead scoring, attribution
- Paid media experience across LinkedIn and Google - knows when to spend and when to pull back
- Working knowledge of SEO; bonus if you've started exploring AI search visibility tools (Profound, Otterly.ai, or similar)
- Analytical - comfortable in dashboards, can build a pipeline report from scratch
- Bonus: Experience working closely with BDRs or SDRs on campaign-to-outreach sequencing
- Bonus: experience marketing to technical buyers (DBAs, cloud architects, infrastructure leads)
KPIs You'll Be Measured On
- MQLs generated and inbound conversion rate
- Cost per MQL and cost per pipeline opportunity
- Website traffic and organic search growth
- AI search visibility and brand mention share on LLM platforms
- Email engagement (open rate, CTR)
- Campaign ROI by channel
