We are looking for a Growth Marketing Manager with 5-7 years of experience to lead and strengthen our performance marketing function across lead generation and e-commerce clients.
This role is strategy-led, performance-driven, and outcome-focused.
You will own growth planning, channel strategy, budget decisions, and performance narratives while working closely with execution teams to deliver measurable results.
This is not a pure execution role and not a channel-only specialist position.
You will act as the growth architect for brands, ensuring performance marketing connects meaningfully to business outcomes.
Core Responsibilities
1. Growth & Performance Strategy (Primary Ownership)
You will:
- Own overall growth strategy for performance clients
- Design full-funnel plans (Awareness → Consideration → Conversion)
- Decide channel mix across:
- Meta (Facebook & Instagram)
- Google Search
- Display & YouTube
- SEO (strategic)
- WhatsApp & automation-led funnels
- Define and track clear KPIs such as CPL, CAC, ROAS, lead quality metrics
- Decide when to scale, pause, or kill campaigns based on data
2. Paid Media & PPC Oversight
You will:
- Lead strategy for Meta and Google Ads
- Define targeting, GEO strategy, budget splits, and test plans
- Supervise execution quality (even if not executing daily)
- Ensure platform spend is aligned with intent and business stage
- Build repeatable frameworks for lead generation and e-commerce performance
- Execution will be supported by junior team members or freelancers.
3. SEO & Search Strategy (Strategic Ownership)
You will:
- Decide if and when SEO is required for a brand
- Define and track SEO objectives from a growth perspective (leads, traffic quality, CAC)
- Work with execution partners or internal resources for implementation
- Ensure SEO efforts align with performance funnels and landing pages
You are not expected to:
- Write SEO content
- Execute technical SEO hands-on
- Manage daily SEO operations
4. GEO, Targeting & Market Expansion Logic
You will:
- Own geographic targeting strategy across districts, cities, and regions
- Design hyperlocal targeting logic for lead-gen and rural markets
- Adapt targeting and creatives based on language, culture, and behavior
- Use first-party data and lookalikes to improve quality and efficiency
5. Funnel Design & Automation Thinking
You will:
- Design clean funnel structures (Q1 → Q2 → Q3 or TOF → MOF → BOF)
- Work closely with automation workflows (WhatsApp, CRM, lead scoring)
- Define handover logic between performance, telecalling, and sales teams
- Ensure lead quality improves through system design, not just filtering
6. Reporting, Insights & Client Communication
You will:
- Own and track performance reporting and insights
- Translate data into clear, founder- and client-friendly narratives
- Present recommendations, not just numbers
- Guide clients on what matters vs vanity metrics
- Participate in key performance reviews and pitch discussions
7. Team Collaboration & Leadership
You will:
- Guide and mentor junior performance executives
- Set structure, standards, and clarity for execution
- Collaborate closely with:
- Creative & Design teams
- Content & Copy leads
- Automation & tech workflows
- Client servicing teams
- Gradually help build a stronger performance function
- You are expected to lead performance-first thinking.
What You Are NOT Expected to Do
- Be the sole execution owner for all campaigns
- Handle deep technical SEO or content writing
- Design creatives end-to-end
- Manage performance in isolation without cross-team collaboration
Skills & ExperienceRequired
- Strong understanding of performance marketing fundamentals
- Experience with Meta Ads and Google Ads
- Comfort working with budgets, funnels, and metrics
- Ability to think beyond CPL and ROAS into business impact
- Confidence in client conversations and internal leadership
Preferred
- Experience across lead generation and e-commerce
- Exposure to WhatsApp automation or CRM-led funnels
- Familiarity with regional/vernacular marketing
- Ability to mentor junior team members
What Success Looks Like (First 6 Months)
- Performance marketing becomes pitch-ready and confident
- Clear growth frameworks are established for key clients
- Lead quality improves, not just volume
- Junior execution becomes more structured
- Founder dependency on performance decisions reduces
Why This Role Matters
- You will play a key part in shaping how growth is delivered, measured, and communicated across the agency.
