Role Overview
We are looking for a
Growth Manager who will own end-to-end growth across acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization over the
next 12 years. This role is highly hands-on and data-driven, working closely with the founder, product, content, and data teams to build sustainable and scalable growth engines.
This is a high-ownership role suited for someone who enjoys experimentation, deep funnel thinking, and turning insights into execution.
Key Responsibilities
- User Acquisition & Channel Growth
- Design and execute long-term growth strategies across organic, paid, and partnership channels
- Scale app installs and web traffic via SEO, content-led growth, performance marketing, and referrals
- Identify and double down on channels that work best for tier 24 audiences
- Funnel & Conversion Optimization
- Own the full user journey: Discovery Signup Activation Engagement Paid
- Improve conversion rates across landing pages, onboarding, practice flows, and paywalls
- Plan and run structured A/B experiments on copy, creatives, and flows
- Retention, Engagement & Lifecycle
- Work closely with product to improve retention, habit formation, and long-term engagement
- Build lifecycle journeys using push notifications, WhatsApp, email, and in-app nudges
- Collaborate on community-driven engagement and retention initiatives
- Analytics, Dashboards & Insights
- Own growth analytics across tools like Google Analytics, Amplitude, Clevertap, Metabase
- Track and review key metrics weekly: activation %, retention, CAC, LTV, cohort behavior
- Convert data into clear insights, priorities, and execution plans
- Experimentation & Growth Systems
- Run continuous growth experiments with clear hypotheses and learnings
- Build repeatable growth loops (content product community referrals)
- Document experiments and create internal growth playbooks
Must-Have Skills
- 13 years experience in growth, performance marketing, or product-led growth
- Strong understanding of funnels, cohorts, and experimentation frameworks
- Hands-on experience with analytics and engagement tools
- Comfortable working in an early-stage, fast-moving startup
- Strong execution mindset with ownership attitude
Good to Have
- Experience in EdTech, consumer apps, or Bharat-focused products
- Knowledge of SEO, ASO, and content distribution
- Experience with WhatsApp/SMS-based engagement strategies
- Ability to collaborate with design and content teams for creatives
