Growth Lead

Open Vector is building the full DeFi suite on Canton Network, and we're looking for a Growth Lead to own and drive our growth function across brand, content, community, campaigns, partnerships, and user acquisition.

This is a senior role for someone who understands how Web3 attention moves, how communities form, and how to turn narrative into distribution and growth. This is not a purely strategic role. We are looking for someone who can think clearly, move fast, execute hands-on, and build the growth engine with high ownership.

About the role

As Growth Lead, you will be responsible for shaping and executing Open Vector's growth strategy. You will work across marketing, ecosystem expansion, content, community, and partnerships to help establish Open Vector's presence and drive adoption.

You should be comfortable operating in a lean environment where speed matters, priorities evolve quickly, and strong ideas need strong execution. You should understand crypto-native audiences, know how to build momentum across platforms, and be able to work cross-functionally with product, design, operations, and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities
  • Own Open Vector's overall growth strategy across brand visibility, user acquisition, community growth, and ecosystem presence
  • Develop and execute marketing and growth campaigns aligned with product launches, partnerships, market moments, and business priorities
  • Identify and test acquisition, activation, and engagement opportunities across community and digital channels
  • Build repeatable growth loops and distribution strategies that compound over time
  • Translate business goals into focused growth initiatives with clear execution plans
  • Lead content strategy across core channels including X, LinkedIn, Telegram, Discord, and Reddit
  • Shape how Open Vector communicates its product, vision, ecosystem relevance, and updates to different audiences
  • Oversee the creation of posts, threads, announcements, articles, newsletters, emailers, blog content, landing page copy, and ecosystem communications
  • Lead community growth and engagement efforts across social and crypto-native channels
  • Build stronger relationships with users, ecosystem participants, partners, and ambassadors
  • Support and drive partnership-led growth efforts across ecosystem players, collaborators, and distribution partners
  • Help identify, evaluate, and execute influencer and KOL collaborations and strategic ecosystem opportunities
  • Define, track, and analyze key growth, content, and community metrics
  • Use performance data, market signals, and user feedback to improve campaign quality and execution
  • Work closely with product, design, operations, business development, and leadership to align growth efforts with company priorities
  • Help build internal processes and workflows for a stronger long-term growth function

Requirements
  • 34 years of experience in Web3 or crypto, ideally across growth, marketing, community, ecosystem, or related roles
  • Proven experience building or contributing meaningfully to growth efforts in a startup or fast-moving environment
  • Strong understanding of crypto-native platforms, online communities, and content behavior
  • Experience owning campaigns, content strategy, community initiatives, or partnership-led growth efforts
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to simplify complex product ideas into clear and compelling messaging
  • Strong execution ability with a bias for action
  • Comfortable balancing strategy and hands-on work
  • Strong ownership mentality and ability to work independently
  • Good instinct for internet culture, crypto narratives, and audience behavior
  • Analytical thinker who can use data to improve decision-making
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and moving quickly with limited structure
  • Able to collaborate across functions while keeping momentum high

Nice to have
  • Strong familiarity with DeFi and broader Web3 concepts
  • Experience with ecosystem marketing, KOL management, or partnership campaigns
  • Experience with SEO, email campaigns, blog strategy, and performance marketing
  • Experience using analytics and social media tools to track campaign performance
  • Prior experience building growth systems from scratch in an early-stage startup

This role is open only to applicants based in India.
