Reporting To: Business Head

1. Role Overview

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and delivering high-quality creatives that align with Jaikalki's brand guidelines and business objectives. This includes designing visual assets for marketing campaigns, product communication, UI/UX enhancements, social media, and corporate branding. The role requires a strong understanding of visual storytelling, digital design standards, and fintech-oriented creative communication.

2. Key Responsibilities
A. Creative Design & Brand Communication
  • Develop visually compelling creatives for social media, websites, digital ads, banners, pitch decks, and product presentations.
  • Ensure consistent brand identity across all visual communication materials.
  • Create promotional graphics for Jaikalki's payment orchestration services, APIs, fintech products, and merchant solutions.

B. UI/UX & Product Visual Support
  • Assist the product team with UI/UX designs for dashboards, mobile screens, and product interfaces (optional but preferred).
  • Prepare icon sets, illustrations, and graphic elements required for product modules.
  • Support the development team with assets for websites, landing pages, and marketing microsites.
C. Marketing Campaign Assets
  • Design monthly campaign creatives, merchant onboarding materials, infographics, digital brochures, and corporate presentations.
  • Create visuals for email marketing, WhatsApp campaigns, and internal communication.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to execute branding strategies and promotional plans.
D. Video Editing & Motion Graphics (Preferred)
  • Prepare short promotional videos, reels, animations, and explainer graphics for product education.
  • Edit product walkthrough videos and merchant tutorials when required.
E. Operational & Cross-Functional Support
  • Maintain an organized library of design files, assets, templates, and brand guidelines.
  • Work with business, sales, and technical teams to understand creative requirements.
  • Deliver work within timelines while adapting quickly to shifting priorities.
3. Required Skills & Competencies
  • Proficiency in design tools: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Figma, Canva, CorelDRAW (optional).
  • Strong understanding of branding, typography, color theory, and layout principles.
  • Ability to convert business or technical concepts (e.g., UPI Switching, API Integration, Payment Routing) into simple visual communication.
  • Creativity combined with a structured and professional approach to design.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Motion graphics and video editing skills are a significant advantage.
4. Qualification Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or related field.
  • 14 years of experience in digital design, preferably with a fintech, startup, or technology company.
  • Freshers with strong portfolios are also encouraged to apply.
5. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Timely delivery of design tasks and campaigns.
  • Quality and consistency of brand-aligned creatives.
  • Engagement metrics from social media and marketing campaigns.
  • Internal stakeholder feedback on design clarity and effectiveness.
  • Contribution to overall brand visibility and merchant communication effectiveness.
6. Work Environment
  • Fast-paced fintech startup environment requiring creativity, agility, and precision.
  • Collaboration with marketing, sales, tech, and product teams.
  • Occasional urgent design requirements for merchant onboarding or product launches.
