We are seeking a highly strategic and results-oriented GM/AGM/DGM/Regional Head to oversee Magazine Circulation. This role is crucial for developing and executing effective circulation strategies, managing customer relationships, and driving significant revenue growth. You will be responsible for everything from mailing list management and production coordination to in-depth analysis of customer responses and budget management, with a strong focus on the Tamil Nadu market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Circulation Strategy & Planning: Develop comprehensive mailing strategies and create targeted mailing lists for catalog promotions. Analyze customer responses both before and after mailings to inform and refine circulation strategies for optimal impact.
- Production & Distribution Coordination: Coordinate seamlessly with production units to finalize master copies for distribution, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Database Management: Maintain and update the circulation database for all customer service transactions, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Customer Service & Support: Provide timely and effective responses to all customer queries. Swiftly and effectively deal with retailers queries and complaints, ensuring high satisfaction.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare detailed customer service reports and weekly sales reports for management. Additionally, prepare management reports, presentations, charts, and graphs for various business meetings.
- Sales & Revenue Generation: Determine business forecasts and develop robust strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals. Drive strong secondary sales to consistently increase primary sales for the company.
- Marketing & Promotions Support: Support broader marketing initiatives and oversee various promotions and email offers to enhance circulation and engagement.
- Budget & Expense Management: Assist in budget preparation and actively manage expenses to achieve maximum cost-effectiveness across all circulation activities.
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, essential for internal and external interactions.
- Strong organizational & management skills to oversee multiple facets of circulation.
- Sound knowledge of the Tamil Nadu (TN) market, specifically related to publication circulation.
- Energetic and organized with strong Public Relations (P.R.) skills.
- Proven ability to deal with Retailers queries and complaints swiftly and effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to develop stronger relationships with customers that lead to higher sales.
- Strong problem-solving ability with inherent leadership and team player qualities.
- Possesses the drive to make good secondary sales, thereby increasing primary sales for the company.
- FMCG / Publication experience preferred.
