Job Description- Build and run the Technology Centre of Excellence in Pune from scratch.
- Hire and scale teams across:
- Software development & maintenance (Microsoft stack, Java, proprietary apps).
- Azure cloud operations (infrastructure, automation, FinOps).
- Digital workplace & end-user computing.
- ITIL-based service management (ServiceNow).
- Define strategy, delivery model, and governance.
- Ensure quality delivery aligned to SLAs/KPIs.
- Act as a senior escalation point for global clients.
- Drive modernization (cloud-native, microservices, automation).
- Report directly to the Group CIO and join the global tech leadership team.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Global Delivery Centre Lead - IT Services should have:
- Proven GCC build experience (zero-to-one or major scale-up).
- 15+ years in IT services/captive centres; 10+ years in senior leadership.
- Exposure to the insurance/financial services domain or any regulated industry like Pharma or Banking
- Strong in Microsoft stack, Azure cloud, ITIL processes.
- Experience managing 300+ FTE tech teams.
- Global stakeholder management (US/UK clients).
- Ability to lead multi-disciplinary tech teams (engineering, infra, service mgmt).
