Location: Bangalore, Novo Nordisk Global Business Services (GBS), India

Job Level: 6

Shape the insights that power global commercial decisions-and see your strategic thinking directly impact millions of patients worldwide.

Your new role

As Global Customer Insights Associate Lead, you'll drive the strategic market research that shapes Novo Nordisk's commercial strategies across products, portfolios, and therapy areas. Working at the intersection of global brand teams, regional affiliates, and senior leadership, you'll translate complex customer insights into actionable intelligence that drives decision-making at the highest levels.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving the preparation and delivery of high-quality market research for key products and portfolios on a country, regional, or global level
  • Leading end-to-end project management of a portfolio of market research initiatives in close collaboration with Global brand teams, sourcing partners, and key affiliates
  • Synthesizing and presenting best-in-class customer insight analysis to senior management to enable strategic and operational decision-making
  • Building and sustaining strong partnerships with stakeholders across Product & Portfolio Strategy, Regions, and Top 15 affiliates to ensure alignment and successful attainment of common targets
  • Proactively challenging vendors and internal stakeholders on research design, methodology, cost structures, and execution processes to continuously elevate output quality and value
  • Triangulating insights from multiple sources-primary and secondary-to provide robust, decision-relevant intelligence
  • Ensuring full compliance across all market research activities, including sourcing, pharmacovigilance, affiliate approvals, documentation, and reporting requirements

Your new department

In Product & Portfolio Strategy we drive commercial strategy, medical affairs and business development across all therapy areas. We act as a connector and compass, guiding the new Novo Nordisk portfolio for sustained competitiveness upstream, and maximising portfolio potential through successful commercial strategies and competitive launches downstream.
You will be part of the Product & Portfolio Strategy GBS team in Bangalore, a dynamic and collaborative department dedicated to driving strategic objectives and delivering high-quality results. Based in a fast-paced and innovative environment, the team works closely with cross-functional stakeholders across headquarters in Denmark and affiliates globally to address key business objectives and shape the insights that drive our commercial success.

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for a strategic thinker with deep market research expertise who thrives in a global, cross-functional environment. You'll bring with you:

  • Master's degree in marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or pharmaceutical fields (focus on market research or Life/Pharmaceutical sciences is seen as an advantage)
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in a market research function and/or as a management consultant in a client-facing capacity
  • International experience-either from having worked abroad as part of your career, or worked in close collaboration with colleagues based in different geographies
  • Demonstrated experience delivering best-in-class strategic insights and using analytical and logical thinking to solve exceptionally complex problems and drive decision-making
  • Track record of strong project and stakeholder management in a cross-functional setting, with the ability to influence and mobilize stakeholders into action
  • Deep industry knowledge of research designs, companies, and practices that drive best-in-class results
  • Exceptional communication skills, with proven ability to synthesize complex information into clear, impactful messages for audiences across multiple seniority levels-and the confidence to defend insights and methodologies when challenged by senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to process large amounts of highly complex materials while handling multiple assignments simultaneously
