Job Description
The GL & FA / R2R Team Lead is responsible for end-to-end ownership of general ledger and record-to-report operations, including period close, journal accounting, balance sheet integrity, and financial reporting. The role ensures governance, audit compliance, SLA adherence, stakeholder alignment, and transformation of GL & R2R processes through best-in-class practices and automation.
Principal Accountabilities
Lead the operations of the GL FA R2R tower encompassing General Ledger Journals Financial Close Reconciliations and ReportingbrOwn and manage the monthend quarterend and yearend close calendars to ensure timely and accurate financial reportingbrEnsure the accuracy and integrity of the organizations books of accounts maintaining high standards of financial data qualitybrDrive the preparation and delivery of statutory management and regulatory reporting ensuring compliance with all relevant standardsbrEstablish monitor and enhance Service Level Agreements SLAs Key Performance Indicators KPIs and financial controls to optimize performancebrLead and coordinate internal and external audits ensuring readiness and compliance with audit requirementsbrChampion process standardization and automation initiatives leveraging ERP systems BlackLine and Robotic Process Automation RPA to enhance efficiencybrManage relationships with key stakeholders including Business Finance Tax Audit and IT to align financial operations with organizational goalsbrProvide leadership and capability building within the team fostering a culture of excellence and continuous development
