We're Hiring: General Sales Manager - North IndiaWe are seeking a senior General Sales Manager – North India to lead direct sales and channel sales operations, strengthen distributor networks, and drive sustainable regional growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute regional sales strategies covering direct, channel, and trade sales for North India
- Lead and manage Regional Sales Managers, Area Sales Managers, and channel sales teams
- Build, expand, and optimize distributor, dealer, and channel partner networks
- Drive channel onboarding, engagement, performance, and retention
- Implement and monitor trade schemes, channel incentives, pricing, and discount structures
- Increase market penetration, product availability, and visibility across territories
- Manage key accounts, large distributors, and strategic channel partners
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and regional performance
- Coordinate with marketing for trade marketing activities, launches, and promotions
- Handle escalations from channel partners and key customers
- Conduct regular field visits, reviews, and performance evaluations
- Ensure adherence to company policies, reporting standards, and sales processes
Requirements:- Minimum 15 years of sales experience
- Strong exposure to channel sales, distributor management, and B2B sales
- Proven experience in North India markets
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Experience in Tile Adhesive, Construction Chemicals, Adhesives, Building Materials, Paints, or allied industries will be highly preferred
Compensation & Benefits:- Annual CTC: ₹3.5 – ₹4.0 LPA, based on experience (negotiable)
