About the Role
Himalayan Adhesives Ltd. is looking for a dynamic and results-driven General Sales Manager to lead and expand our sales operations across North India. The ideal candidate will bring strong industry expertise, proven leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve business targets
- Lead, mentor, and manage regional sales teams to maximize performance
- Expand dealer/distributor network and strengthen channel partnerships
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements
- Drive key account management and build long-term client relationships
- Ensure timely collection of receivables and maintain healthy credit cycles
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams for branding and demand generation
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for management
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 15+ years in sales, with at least 10 years in a leadership role
- Strong experience in building materials, adhesives, construction chemicals, or related industry preferred
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing large teams
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to handle multi-region sales operations and channel management
- Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Compensation
- Salary: ₹4 – ₹8 Lakhs per month (Negotiable based on experience and profile)
