We are seeking an experienced Engineering Services Delivery professional with a strong background in engineering services to drive delivery excellence, business growth, and management of international clients. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in engineering services (not staffing), particularly in global markets.
About the Role
The General Manager (Engineering Services) will be responsible for overseeing engineering services delivery, managing international clients, and driving business growth.
Responsibilities
- Project Management & Vendor Management: Lead end-to-end project management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of engineering services engagements. Manage vendor relationships and outsourcing partners to ensure quality delivery, cost efficiency, and adherence to timelines.
- End to End Sales Experience: Lead to cash Sales experience. Insider Sales, qualifying the leads and converting them into business. Lead and direct a team of Business Development Executives to achieve Sales Targets.
- Delivery Excellence: Lead end-to-end delivery of engineering services projects ensuring quality, timelines, and customer satisfaction for Global Customers.
- Client Management: Manage and grow relationships with international clients; act as a key point of contact for delivery and escalation.
- Business Growth: Drive revenue growth through account expansion, cross-selling, and identifying new business opportunities.
- Operational Leadership: Establish best practices, optimize delivery processes, and ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams (sales, pre-sales, and engineering) to ensure seamless project execution.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead high-performing engineering delivery teams.
Qualifications
- BE/BTECH in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering
- PMP/MBA preferred (good to have)
Required Skills
- 15–20 years of experience in Engineering Services delivery
- Strong exposure to global markets and international client management
- Proven track record in driving delivery excellence and business growth
- Experience in industries such as Automotive, Industrial, Electronics, or Digital Engineering
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage large-scale delivery programs and distributed teams
- Willingness to travel across locations (domestic and international) as required
