Position Title - General Manager - Export (International Business Division)
Location: Mahim – Head Office
Experience: 12–15 years(Stationery / School Products / Writing Instruments / FMCG preferred)
Qualification: MBA
Pay range and compensation package - Maximum ₹30 Lakhs per annum. (Please apply only if your salary expectations fall within this range).
Note:Relevant industry experience in Stationery, School Products, Writing Instruments, or FMCG is mandatory.
Role Overview
The General Manager – Exports will lead the company's international business as an independent profit center.
This role requires a senior business leader who can drive growth, manage key customer relationships, ensure execution discipline, and take full ownership of profitability and commitments made to international customers.
Key Responsibilities
Business & Market Development
• Lead and grow export business across Africa, Middle East, South East Asia, Latin, and other focus markets.
• Develop long-term plans for new markets, new customers, and new products.
• Track market trends, competition, and pricing to implement the right strategy.
Sales & Customer Relationships
• Build and manage strong relationships with distributors, super stockists, large retail chains, and key buyers.
• Personally handle key accounts and major negotiations.
• Act as the senior representative of the company in international markets.
Profit Centre Ownership
• Own export P&L including sales, margins, costs, and profitability.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and sales plans and ensure achievement.
• Work closely with Finance on pricing, credit control, and receivables.
Order Planning, Execution & Commitments
• Ensure alignment between order booking, production planning, logistics, and delivery timelines.
• Ensure customer commitments are realistic and achievable.
• Proactively address risks related to delays, supply constraints, or execution gaps.
Export Operations & Compliance
• Strong working knowledge of export documentation, INCOTERMS, logistics, and regulations.
• Ensure timely and cost-effective shipment execution.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Coordination
• Lead and develop the International Business team.
• Work closely with manufacturing, supply chain, R&D, quality, marketing, and finance teams.
• Drive a culture of ownership, accountability, and collaboration.
Travel & Market Presence
• Travel extensively for customer visits, distributor meetings, and trade fairs.
• Represent the company professionally in global markets.

• Strong network with distributors and trade partners.
• Confident communicator with strong commercial judgement.
