Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Fundraising Volunteer. The individual in this position will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic fundraising efforts, reaching out to potential donors, cultivating donor relationships, and organizing fundraising campaigns and events. The role will also involve identifying grant opportunities, preparing proposals, and ensuring donor outreach through compelling communication and storytelling to share the impact of the organization's work.
Qualifications
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and networking skills
- Proficiency in planning, organizing, and coordinating fundraising initiatives
- Effective writing and storytelling skills to craft compelling donor communication and grant proposals
- Knowledge of marketing or social media to promote campaigns and engage with supporters
- Passion for philanthropy and commitment to supporting the mission of helping the poor and those in distress
- Self-motivated with the ability to work remotely and independently
- Previous experience in nonprofit work or fundraising is a plus but not mandatory
