Role: Functional Consultant/Senior Consultant (HCM Implementation) – US Markets
Location: United States - Remote

About the role:
As a Functional Consultant / Sr. Functional Consultant at Darwinbox, you will lead HRMS implementations in the U.S., ensuring successful delivery, stakeholder alignment, and client satisfaction. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, manage escalations, mentor Implementation Consultants, and support change management initiatives.

This role requires strong knowledge of business process mapping, HRMS implementations, and client engagement to drive measurable outcomes. You will also oversee project financials, track ROI, and identify upsell opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multiple HRMS implementations, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Mentor and support a team of Implementation Consultants.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Pre-Sales for smooth post-sale knowledge transfer.
  • Develop project plans, track milestones, and ensure adherence to timelines.
  • Align stakeholders, including CXOs, to drive change management and adoption.
  • Translate business requirements into product solutions, identifying gaps and enhancements.
  • Conduct end-user training and provide ongoing support throughout the lifecycle.
  • Guide clients through go-live and partner with Customer Experience teams for adoption.
  • Track project ROI and measure success based on delivery quality, speed, and client satisfaction.
  • Manage escalations and proactively resolve issues with clients and internal teams.
  • Ensure smooth transition to Customer Success post-implementation.
  • Manage financial milestones, including billing, before the project goes live.
  • Identify upselling opportunities during delivery to drive growth.

Qualifications:
Required
  • 5–9 years of experience in managing product implementation projects, ideally in HRMS or enterprise SaaS.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple client projects concurrently.
  • Strong expertise in business process mapping, functional specifications, and change management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams across geographies.

Preferred
  • Prior experience managing HRMS or HCM implementations.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with structured execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify upsell opportunities during delivery.
