About The Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Odoo Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team at TekGenio. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in frontend development within the Odoo ecosystem, with a strong focus on OWL (Odoo Web Library) and JavaScript. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and optimizing frontend components to enhance the user interface and overall user experience of our Odoo-based solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including backend developers and functional consultants, to deliver seamless and scalable applications that meet client requirements. Your expertise will help us push the boundaries of Odoo frontend capabilities and ensure our solutions are both functional and user-friendly.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Odoo frontend development.
- Proficiency in OWL (Odoo Web Library) framework and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS for building responsive UI components.
- Understanding of Odoo Web Client architecture and its integration points.
- Experience in developing and customizing frontend components within Odoo.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and frontend-backend data exchange mechanisms.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Preferred qualifications include experience with Odoo versions 16, 17, 18, or 19, knowledge of responsive UI/UX design principles, and skills in optimizing frontend performance. A basic understanding of Python and Odoo backend development is considered an advantage.
