Job Description

Industry & Sector: Customer-facing membership sales within the hospitality/wellness/retail services sector. We deliver high-touch in-person experiences focused on membership acquisition, retention, and front-desk operations across on-site locations.

About The Opportunity

Join a fast-paced, client-facing team responsible for driving membership growth and delivering exceptional first impressions at our on-site locations across India. This role blends reception duties, sales conversion, and operational accuracyideal for driven candidates who convert walk-ins into long-term members while maintaining a polished front-desk experience.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet and register visitors; manage check-ins/outs and ensure an efficient, welcoming front-desk experience.
  • Qualify inbound and walk-in leads, present membership options, and close membership sales to achieve monthly targets.
  • Maintain accurate member records in the CRM, follow up on leads, and schedule tours or trial sessions.
  • Process payments, issue invoices and receipts, and reconcile cash/card transactions at the point of sale.
  • Coordinate member onboarding and orientation, manage appointment bookings, and support renewals and upgrades.
  • Handle member inquiries and basic issue resolution; escalate operational or service issues to management promptly.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Proven experience in front-desk, retail, or membership sales roles with measurable conversion outcomes.
  • Strong proficiency with CRM platforms and accurate data-entry practices.
  • Experience operating Point of Sale (POS) systems and handling cash/card transactions.
  • Demonstrable ability to qualify leads, close sales, and meet monthly targets.
  • Excellent phone and email etiquette with professional client-facing demeanour.
  • Availability to work on-site and in rotational shifts as required.

Preferred

  • Experience in fitness, wellness, hospitality, or coworking memberships.
  • Familiarity with industry tools such as Salesforce, Zoho CRM, or Mindbody.
  • Additional language proficiency (Hindi or a major regional language) to support diverse member base.
