Freelance Consultant-Public Policy

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant with a strong educational and professional background to work on policy review and analysis. The consultant will collaborate closely with top consulting firms, as well as government agencies. The consultant should have a keen eye for identifying loopholes in policies and regulations, offering strategic recommendations for improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth reviews of government policies and legal frameworks.
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and inconsistencies in policies.
• Provide actionable recommendations to strengthen legal and policy frameworks.
• Collaborate with teams and other consulting firms.
• Work closely with government bodies for policy enhancement.
• Conduct research and analysis on public policy, legal reforms, and economic regulations.
• Prepare reports, whitepapers, and policy briefs.
• Travel to priority states as needed

Skills Required

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Public Policy, Law, Economics, or a related field from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 institution.

Strong experience in strategy, public policy, law, or consulting, preferably working with government bodies or top consulting firms (MBB – McKinsey, Bain, BCG).

Expertise in policy analysis, strategic planning, and regulatory frameworks.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and report-writing skills.

Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.

Willingness to travel as per project requirements.
