Hiring Procurement Executive For Gurgaon

Role: Indirect Category Procurement

Location: Gurgaon [Work from Office 5 Days]

Role Objective:

• Sourcing Manager is responsible for supporting the business needs of Aster DM healthcare by

ensuring timely procurement of Indirect spend category including Marketing, IT, Facility and HR

requirements.

• He/She needs to define category performance objectives aligned with SCM objectives and

ensure that all policy guidelines and organizational processes related to procurement are

followed properly.

• He/She will oversee Procurement activities for the Indirect category.

• He/ She will be responsible for demand forecasting and developing an annual Procurement plan,

aligned with the business requirements.

• He/She will develop category strategy and execution plan by analyzing industry trends,

understanding demand patterns and vendor landscape, etc.

• He/She will define sourcing and negotiation strategies as a basis category strategy for all the

sourcing projects by adopting best practices.

• He/ She needs to focus on standardization of product specifications, to drive catalog creation

through rate cards.

• He/She is responsible for optimizing technical specifications of user requirements by

collaborating with product/ business teams and vendors.

• He/She should understand how various systems interact with each other for fulfillment of

business requirements and provide inputs wherever technology enablement is required (e.g.,

adoption of Oracle fusion and contract management tool for sourcing)

• He/She maintains a close working relationship with all business functions, SCM Operations, SCM

Enablers and SCM Logistics to ensure cross-functional collaboration and efficient sourcing.

• He/She needs to work with both in-house teams and suppliers to meet the required efficiency

norms and service delivery SLAs.

• He/ She needs to support the development of supplier relationship management strategy and

formulate strategic relationships with key vendors.

• He/She is accountable for compliance to the procurement guidelines and rules, both internal

(Aster guidelines) and external (tax laws, legal/ regulatory laws)

Skills required:

1. Bachelors Degree and MBA or Recognized Procurement certification

2. Minimum of 6 years of global Indirect procurement experience with a large multinational setup

preferably IT/healthcare

3. Knowledge of recent trends and developments in facility management, marketing, technology

and network fields (e.g. Cloud, IoT, etc.)

4. Experience in strategic sourcing via category management

5. Significant experience in leading teams.

6. Understanding of international, regional, and local supply markets and working practices

Preferred

7. Experience of implementing change in a complex environment, working with a wide range of

stakeholders

8. Experience in catalog development for standard products/ services 9. Experience in e-sourcing toolsets Oracle/SAP
