highly scalable, system-driven brand that can expand rapidly across cities using innovative distribution models.
Role Overview
We are looking for a
Franchise & Expansion Officer who will lead
end-to-end franchise strategy, model creation, and city-wise expansion for Kefilo.
This is not a sales role. This is a
business-building role where you will design, test, and scale
franchise systems that can take Kefilo to multiple cities.
This is an
equity-only role, ideal for someone who wants to build and own the
expansion engine of a startup.
Key Responsibilities1. Franchise Model Design & Strategy- Build franchise models for different verticals:
- Smart kiosks
- Meal delivery hubs
- Hospital-based food units
- Define investment structure, ROI timelines, and partner economics
- Create scalable formats (low-cost, premium, institutional models)
- Expansion Planning & Execution
- Identify high-potential cities and micro-markets
- Design go-to-market strategy for each new location
- Execute pilot launches and refine expansion playbooks
- Franchise Acquisition & Partnerships
- Identify and onboard high-quality franchise partners
- Build relationships with local entrepreneurs, operators, and investors
- Ensure partner alignment with Kefilo's long-term vision
- SOPs & System Building
- Create detailed SOPs for franchise operations (kitchen, delivery, kiosk)
- Standardize processes for quality, branding, and customer experience
- Ensure every franchise runs on a replicable system
- Unit Economics & Profitability
- Work closely with finance and operations to ensure profitable franchise models
- Monitor cost structures, margins, and operational efficiency
- Continuously optimize models for scalability and returns
- Franchise Support & Growth
- Support franchise partners in launch, operations, and growth
- Solve on-ground challenges in real-time
- Build systems for training, onboarding, and performance tracking
Who Should Apply
- 1–5 years experience in franchise, business expansion, operations, or consulting
- Strong understanding of scalable business models
- Ability to think in systems, not just execution
- Comfortable working in fast-moving, unstructured environments
- Bonus: Experience in F&B, QSR, cloud kitchens, or retail expansion
