About the Role

Salesable is a fast-growing. We are looking for a hands-on Fractional Head of People & Operations to lead day-to-day HR operations and people management. This is a fractional, part-time role with strong ownership, reporting directly to the founders, and has the potential to evolve into a full-time Head of People / CHRO position.

You will work closely with a small HR team (1 recruiter + 1 HR generalist) and be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of HR processes, talent acquisition, workforce planning, and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

Hands-On HR & People Operations

  • Implement and streamline HR policies and processes
  • Oversee performance management, employee engagement, and HR reporting
  • Manage payroll, benefits, and HR compliance

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Build staffing plans and drive hiring for key roles
  • Mentor and guide the HR team in recruitment execution
  • Ensure onboarding and retention strategies are effective

Operations & Leadership

  • Act as a bridge between founders/board and employees
  • Ensure operational efficiency in day-to-day HR and people processes
  • Drive initiatives aligned with board expectations and company growth
Who You Are
  • 12–18 years of HR / People Ops experience, preferably in IT / Fintech / startups
  • Hands-on experience with payroll, recruitment, compliance, and HR systems
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor small teams effectively
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable using Excel, PowerPoint, and AI/automation tools to improve efficiency
  • Capable of translating strategy into execution
