The Financial Analyst position will be responsible for financial and analytical reporting of GlobalLogic financials and processes. Reporting to the Manager – FP&A Operations, this candidate will work closely with members within FP&A, as well as other functions such as Accounting, Information Systems, etc. The position will prepare, review, and manage weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to submit to management as well as create, automate and maintain various financial reporting templates and processes.
– 3-7 years of experiences in global company setting, in either Management Reporting, FP&A and/or Financial Systems
– Strong ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large amounts of data
– Exceptional attention to detail with high standard for data accuracy
– Possess great acumen to understand and effectively deliver business requirements
– Excellent quantitative and communication skills
– Eager to learn and have a natural curiosity to numbers
– Work with Corporate FP&A and IT Development to establish a system of analytical tools (e.g., Anaplan models, reporting cockpits, guided analytics) and off-the-shelf data resources, provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, developing systems, data analysis
– Work closely with Financial Systems and ERP team to maintain up to date mappings across multiple financial reporting databases
– Prepare and review routine FP&A activities in month/quarter/year cadences, deliver reporting packages to various key business stakeholders on periodic and ad-hoc basis
– Redesign financial planning processes in partnership with FP&A and other key cross-functional partners, drive effective reporting through revamping existing processes in response to structural and hierarchy changes across the company
– Serve as a go-to trusted business partner for FP&A team members, develop strong collaborative relationships not only within FP&A but across other operational teams to drive reporting efficiency and data accuracy
– Support the FP&A Operations Manager and other teammates in ad-hoc projects and analysis
