Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Sales Consultant to strengthen sales and distribution operations for our clients. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in managing FMCG distribution networks and implementing structured, process-driven sales systems.
This role requires strategic thinking, operational expertise, and the ability to design scalable sales frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize FMCG distribution channels, including distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and key trade partners
- Analyze existing sales and distribution structures to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sales and distribution processes
- Define, implement, and monitor KRAs and KPIs for distributors, sales teams, and channel partners
- Design and execute channel expansion strategies, route-to-market planning, and territory structuring
- Align sales targets with distribution reach and operational efficiency
- Provide strategic guidance to improve market penetration, revenue growth, and sales productivity
- Prepare structured reports, dashboards, performance reviews, and documentation for clients and leadership
Required Skills & Competencies
- Minimum 7 years of experience in FMCG, specifically in sales and distribution
- Strong understanding of traditional trade, distribution management, and channel development
- Proven experience in drafting and implementing SOPs, KRAs, and KPIs
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert data into actionable strategies
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Consulting mindset with strong problem-solving and process improvement capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a consulting or advisory role (preferred)
- Exposure to multi-location or regional distribution networks
- Strong documentation and reporting capabilities
