Firewall Governance Engineer

Skills and Experience  
Technical Skills: 
• Good understanding of Networking concepts (TCP/IP, NAT, Routing etc.) 
• Good knowledge of Information security concepts 
• Strong understanding of Firewall devices (CISCO ASA, Fortinet etc.) as well as Firewall Assurance tool - 
Tufin 
• Strong analytical mindset or approach for dealing with large data and finding meaningful trends from that 
• Good inter-personal communications skills and follow-up methods 
• Strong working experience with MS Excel or other data handling tools

Job Responsibilities 
• Managing regular upgrades / patches of the Tufin tool and related infrastructure   
• Tufin Hardware EOL management   
• Upkeeping the Tufin infrastructure and related Firewall configurations and troubleshooting the ongoing issues 
/ errors   
• Helping in DR exercise / actual DR situations    
• Governance on Firewall change requests being processed (assist on-prem team on approvals of the changes 
according to risk reviews)   
• Periodic review of implemented changes (weekly on sample basis) against what was requested in SNOW   
• Driving firewall configuration reviews periodically   
• Driving Rule recertification activity annually  (Annual Firewall Rule Review) 
• Perform rule usage-based review (unused / redundant rules)   
• Risky rules review    
• Taking daily snapshots / backup of all FW and devices (oversee automated tasks if any)
