Key Responsibilities
Fire Safety & Emergency Response
- Oversee fire safety operations across the assigned site
- Execute fire suppression and emergency response procedures as per command structure
- Deploy Emergency Response Team (ERT) during incidents
- Conduct rescue, firefighting, and salvage operations during emergencies
- Identify trapped individuals during emergencies and coordinate rescue actions
Fire System Management & Equipment Handling
- Ensure fire safety systems and equipment are fully operational at all times
- Perform equipment setup and readiness checks during fire incidents
- Maintain inventory of fire safety equipment post-incident
- Monitor maintenance of fire systems and update related records and checklists
Training & Drills
- Conduct fire and life safety training for employees and occupants
- Plan and execute evacuation drills and emergency preparedness exercises
- Perform lift evacuation and rescue drills periodically
- Maintain training records and ensure compliance with safety standards
Risk Assessment & Prevention
- Support fire risk assessments and pre-fire planning studies
- Provide input on fire safety equipment requirements for different areas
- Ensure preventive measures are in place to reduce fire risks
Regulatory Compliance & Liaison
- Liaise with government authorities for fire safety NOC renewals
- Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and standards
- Maintain updated documentation for audits and inspections
Incident Reporting & Documentation
- Record and report all fire and safety incidents
- Maintain detailed logs of equipment, drills, and emergency actions
- Ensure proper documentation of fire safety activities and compliance records
Site Coordination & Support
- Work closely with security and facility management teams
- Report to Security Manager / Property Manager as required
- Coordinate with site teams for emergency readiness and response
