Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and review proprietary historical financial models.
- Analyze and map data points between client (sell-side/buy-side) models and internal models.
- Track key trends and developments in relevant sectors/geographies.
- Oversee junior analysts to improve workflow efficiency and ensure quality and timeliness.
- Maintain MIS reports for the team and organization.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of equity research experience with deep sector expertise.
- Strong understanding of capital markets, financial statements, ratios, and valuation.
- Critical analysis of financial models with a keen eye for errors.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
- MBA (Finance) or Master's in Finance/Economics/Accounting preferred.
- Progression toward CFA, CA, or CMA is a plus.
