Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure adherence to accounting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while reviewing financial statements.

Ensure timely closure of books of accounts, including compilation and finalization of financial statements.

Prepare and review monthly MIS and Collections reports.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.

Assist in preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections; monitor actual performance against budgets and highlight variances.

Support Statutory, Internal, and Cost Audits by providing required documents, records, and explanations.

Investigate and resolve audit observations, accounting discrepancies, and compliance-related issues.

Post and review accounting entries in ERP systems and maintain accounting and statutory records.

Contribute to development and improvement of accounting systems, processes, and controls.

Monitor bank activities and review receivables ageing on a regular basis.

Review monthly TDS workings and reconcile TDS receivables.

Review and ensure timely filing of statutory returns, including GST, TDS, and Income Tax.

Review monthly bank reconciliation statements.

Resolve queries and complete reconciliations within prescribed turnaround time (TAT).

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on direct and indirect tax assessments and compliance tools.

Ensure accurate reporting of all tax-related information.

Ensure timely and accurate tax filings to avoid any penalties, interest, or cost escalation for the company.

Chartered Accountant (CA)

Work Experience:

23 years of relevant post-qualification experience in Finance and Accounting

Skills & Competencies:

Hands-on experience in MIS reporting, Financial Statement (FS) closure, IND AS, and Taxation

Strong understanding of accounting standards and regulatory requirements

Process-oriented with a structured and analytical approach to problem-solving

Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA (or SAP HANA)

Advanced skills in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint

Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
