Provide financial support and expertise to the Company's spares and service business unit including financial forecasting, analysis and accounting/technical support.
The impact you'll make
At Lam, as a Financial Analyst, you will be a trusted advisor to the business and influence sound business decisions based on your expertise in interpreting data, performing analysis, modeling, and understanding financial outlook. You're in a high visibility role working with internal business partners at all levels and across functions, on challenging and rewarding projects that help shape Lam's financial strategies and decisions for the future.
What You'll Do
- Working with Business Partners supporting the Company's forecast cycles
- Supporting, analyzing, and assisting in the preparation and review of annual operating budgets, periodic forecast and analysis
- Developing budgets, financial forecasts, operating plans and modeling tools
- Analyzing actual operating results and identifying key financial and operating issues to be addressed; quantifying actual results versus forecast
- Preparing Business Unit presentations that summarize budget and analysis in a comprehensive and easy-to-understand format
- Preforming monthly/quarterly close processes and activities
- Ensuring data integrity thorough research and analysis of variances
- Performing Balance Sheet account reconciliations, account analysis, accrual calculations, and other related accounting documents/schedules
- Assisting with requests related to internal/external audits and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance including PBC preparation and Key Control testing
- Initiating and engaging in continuous process improvement
- Work on standardization and automation of work.
Who We're Looking For
- CA Inter/CWA Inter/Bachelor's/Master's degree in finance/accounting with minimum 3 years experience required.
- Solid accounting and financial skills.
- Strong technical abilities including experience with SAP and advance Excel.
- Good analytical, organizational, planning and initiation skills.
- Attention to details and demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload; effective multi-tasking skills are vital.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, written and verbal.
Work timings will be overlap with NA for 3-4 hours (8PM to 12AM). Should be open to stretch during Month/Quarter close and Planning cycles and support stakeholders as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Foundational understanding of US GAAP and India GAAP is a plus.
- Prior experience within technology, manufacturing, or related industries.
- SAP and Business Objects experience is highly desirable or demonstrable strong systems skills.
- Experience in business intelligence (BI) technologies, tools, and concepts.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse, cross-functional, and international teams including occasional flexible schedules to accommodate time zones.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. On-site Flex you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. Virtual Flex you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
