The impact you'll make
The Cash Application Specialist is responsible for accurately applying customer payments to their accounts in a timely manner. This role ensures that all incoming payments are processed, reconciled, and recorded correctly to maintain accurate financial records and support efficient credit and collections operations. You're in a high visibility role working with internal business partners at all levels and across functions, on challenging and rewarding projects that help shape Lam's financial strategies and decisions for the future.
What You'll Do
- Process and apply customer payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers) to accounts receivable.
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies and unidentified cash.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues related to payment application.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all cash application activities.
- Prepare and reconcile daily cash reports and assist with month-end close processes.
Who We're Looking For
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or preferred related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cash applications, accounts receivables, or related finance role.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, SAP S4 Hana) preferred.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. On-site Flex you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. Virtual Flex you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
