Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial plans
  • Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis
  • Support strategic decision-making through financial insights
  • Fixed Asset management and Financial Reporting support
  • Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations
  • Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and accounting standards
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.)
  • Coordinate with auditors, regulatory bodies, and consultants
  • Maintain strong internal controls and risk management systems
  • Monitor product costing, batch costing, and inventory valuation
  • Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting exercises for manufacturing operations.
  • Manage working capital, including receivables and payables
  • Oversee pricing strategies and margin analysis
  • Ensure financial compliance related to pharma regulations
  • Manage banking relationships and credit facilities
  • Monitor cash flow and optimize fund utilization
  • Handle financial negotiations with banks and financial institutions
  • Develop SOPs and improve financial processes
  • Prepare high-impact presentations for review meetings with CEO, Finance Controller
  • Partner with operations, supply chain, procurement, business and corporate finance teams to drive cost optimization and efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification
  • 610+ years of relevant experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations Key Skills & Competencies
