We are seeking a highly experienced Finance Manager to join our leading jewellery company in Kochi, India. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing our financial operations, ensuring compliance, and driving financial performance to support our growth objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Monitor financial performance and conduct variance analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to align financial goals with business objectives.
- Oversee cash flow management and ensure adequate liquidity for operations and investments.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards in India.
- Lead and mentor the finance team to enhance their skills and performance.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or professional certification (CA/CMA) preferred.
- 10-20 years of experience in finance management, preferably in the retail or jewellery sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles in India.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, including ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong leadership skills and experience in managing a finance team.
- Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
