Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced
Finance Manager with a strong background in the
e-commerce industry to oversee financial planning, reporting, and analysis. The role requires deep understanding of marketplace finance, high transaction volumes, and profitability management across online channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end financial operations including accounting, reporting, and compliance
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Monitor revenue, margins, and profitability across e-commerce channels (Amazon, Flipkart, D2C website, etc.)
- Handle marketplace reconciliations, payment settlements, and commission tracking
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Analyze key financial metrics and provide insights to drive business decisions
- Ensure GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances are met
- Manage working capital, cash flow, and cost optimization strategies
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and internal stakeholders
- Implement financial controls and process improvements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Mandatory experience in E-commerce / D2C finance
- Strong knowledge of marketplace reconciliation (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.)
- Expertise in accounting principles, taxation (GST), and compliance
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Tally, Zoho, or ERP systems)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in handling high-volume transactions and complex data
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- CA / MBA (Finance) preferred
- Experience with D2C brands or high-growth startups
- Familiarity with inventory accounting and supply chain finance
- Exposure to fundraising, investor reporting, or financial modeling
