We, at Amazon's Devices and Services Finance team, are looking for a Finance Manager to lead finance for Amazon Devices and Services Sales and Marketing team in India.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team that has launched innovative products like Kindle, Fire TV, and Echo in India. This role will have wide scope in both business partnering and controllership. This is an independent contributor role and the candidate will have an opportunity to influence the business strategy as well as build a financial model and use various financial tools.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial modeling and background in partnering with the sales and marketing team in India. They should be able to work independently with multiple local and global stakeholders, possess a good controllership mindset, and evaluate business decisions in close collaboration with tax, accounting, and legal teams.
Key job responsibilities
. Go-to-market: Lead pricing analysis for new product launch. Evaluate product lifetime value.
. Demand generation: Evaluate/Approve business cases to support demand generation activities across different sales channels
. Channel Investment: Evaluate/Approve investments, like field force or capex, in a sales channel
. FP&A: Lead annual planning cycles as well as long-range plans for one or more categories or channels. Support month-end closing. Analyze key variances versus forecast.
. Automation and Simplifications: Find technology driven solutions for various financial tasks and processes
- Five or more years of work experience in finance
- Master's degree (MBA, CA, or equivalent)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills
- Prior experience in sales and marketing finance in India
- Familiarity with financial tools (e.g., Cognos)
