About the Role

The Business Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial planning, analysis, cost controllership and reporting activities to support the business's strategic goals. This role involves managing budgeting processes, forecasting, financial modeling, new commercials evaluation, cost controllership and providing actionable insights to drive business performance. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with business acumen to guide decision-making and improve profitability.

Key Deliverables (What Will You Do)

• Lead the preparation and management of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Analyse financial performance and provide detailed variance analysis against budget and forecasts.
• Identify, design & implement required checks & process for cost controllership & to fix revenue & cost leakages.
• Develop financial models and conduct scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives & new commercial requests.
• Collaborate with business units to interpret financial data and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management.
• Support business development activities with financial due diligence and feasibility studies.
• Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures and SOPs.
• Drive process improvements & automation in financial reporting & business operations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.

Job Specification (What Will You Need)

• Chartered accountant with 2 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a business partnering or commercial finance role.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and budgeting processes.
• Positive attitude towards work and process-oriented approach towards work.
• Proficiency in financial modelling and advanced Excel skills
• Self-starter with ability to identify issues and solve problems with complete ownership
• Excellent business acumen, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence decision-making.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
