ABOUT CLIMATY AI

We are an early-stage AI company backed by Turbostart, with enterprise pilots underway and global ambitions. We are building our founding finance team and this role will own the function end-to-end.

THE ROLE

You will be our first finance hire. Core job: keep the books tight, build the models, and make our numbers investor-ready. Three pillars - Accounting, MIS, and Investor Finance.

4-8 Years Exp / Startup Mandatory / Reports to CEO

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Accounting: P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, month-end close, audit management
• MIS & Reporting: Monthly dashboards for leadership, burn rate, runway, unit economics, KPI tracking
• Financial Modelling: 3-statement models, scenario analysis, valuation frameworks - built from scratch
• Investor Docs: Data rooms, board decks, investor updates, cap table management, fundraising support
• Treasury: Cash flow forecasting, multi-currency accounts, working capital management

WHAT WE NEED

• Prior experience at a Seed or Series A startup. No startup experience = no fit
• You have owned finance at a founder led company, not just supported it
• Expert financial modeller - unit economics, investor models
• Strong on India compliance - GST, TDS, Ind AS, ROC/MCA filings
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets
• Comfortable in a data room and on a call with investors
