Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Taxation & GST Expertise: Apply strong expertise in all taxation matters, with particular emphasis on GST knowledge, ensuring compliance and optimizing tax strategies.
  • Risk Management: Plan and perform comprehensive risk management duties, identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks to the organization.
  • Relationship Management: Manage and foster strong relationships with banks and vendors, ensuring favorable terms and efficient financial operations.
  • Quarterly Audit Management: Oversee and coordinate the quarterly audit processes, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared and provided accurately and on time.
  • Promoter Account Management: Manage and maintain accuracy in promoters accounts, ensuring compliance and transparency.
  • Liability & Investment Analysis: Analyze and strategically manage the organization's liabilities and investments to optimize financial performance and minimize risk.
  • Cash Flow Management: Track and ensure that cash flow is appropriate, sufficient, and sustainable to meet the organization's operational and strategic needs.
  • TDS & Returns Coordination: Coordinate closely with Chartered Accountants (CAs) for the timely and accurate filing of TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) and various tax returns.
  • Accounting System Oversight: Overlook the entire accounting system, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the creation of an efficient organizational financial structure.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate flexibility to work additional or out-of-hours if necessary to fulfill the requirements of the role and meet business needs.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce + Post-Graduation in Finance / MBA in Finance.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with various stakeholders, including staff, board members, and external partners.
  • Excellent writing, editing, grammatical, organizational, and research skills.
  • Excellent management, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent accounting skills.
  • Proficiency in Windows, including MS Word & EXCEL.
