About the Role
We are looking for a highly analytical and driven Finance Intern to join our Corporate Development team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with leadership on strategic initiatives, including sales analytics, financial modeling, and market research. You will gain hands-on exposure to high-impact projects that influence business growth, investment decisions, and operational efficiency.
What You'll Do
Sales Pipeline & Efficiency Metrics Tracking
Track and analyze the end-to-end sales pipeline, including deal stages, conversion rates, win/loss ratios, and sales velocity.
Support weekly and monthly sales forecasting, pipeline reviews, and reporting on pipeline health.
Monitor and analyze key business metrics such as Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Lifetime Value (LTV), payback period, burn rate, gross margin, and other operational efficiency ratios.
Build dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights for Sales and Leadership teams.
Corporate Development
Conduct industry research, competitor benchmarking, and market analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Assist in financial due diligence for potential M&A opportunities, partnerships, or investments.
Build and maintain financial models, including DCF, comparable company analysis, and basic LBO models.
Support the preparation of investor decks, board presentations, and internal strategy materials.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and support execution of strategic projects.
Identify gaps across market, product, and go-to-market (GTM) strategies and support solutioning.
Requirements & Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or a related field (CA/CFA/MBA candidates preferred).
Strong academic track record.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, data analysis) and PowerPoint.
Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
