Job Description

Purpose of the Role

Support the end-to-end execution of global Workforce Optimization (WO) / Reduction in Force (RIF) processes. Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant delivery of workforce reduction activities while supporting impacted employees and minimizing operational and regulatory risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Workforce Optimization Process Execution
    Support the preparation, validation, and execution of workforce impact files and notification cycles. Ensure timelines, data accuracy, and process adherence throughout the lifecycle.

  • Process Governance & Compliance
    Follow established Employee Relations and RIF governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with country-specific labor laws and internal policies. Flag risks and escalate issues proactively.

  • Data & Case Management
    Review employee data related to workforce reductions (terminations, exits, transitions) and coordinate updates across HR systems (e.g., Workday, ticketing tools). Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of sensitive information.

  • Stakeholder Coordination
    Work closely with HR Business Partners, Employee Relations, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, and Legal teams to support smooth execution of workforce reduction activities.

  • Employee Support Coordination
    Assist in addressing employee queries and ensure appropriate routing of causes related to separations, grievances, or benefits during RIF cycles.

  • Operational Excellence
    Adhere to defined SLAs and support tracking of key metrics (accuracy, timeliness, exceptions). Contribute to process improvements and stabilization of files early in the cycle.

  • Technology & Tools Usage
    Use HR systems, trackers, and digital tools effectively to manage workflow. Support adoption of automation and standardized templates.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience in HR operations, Employee Relations, or workforce lifecycle processes

  • Exposure to RIF / restructuring / workforce optimization processes is preferred

  • Basic understanding of labor law and compliance requirements

  • Experience in global or multi-country environments is an advantage

  • Familiarity with Workday, ticketing tools, and MS Excel
