Role: Finance Executive
Location: Gurugram
Education: Graduate/Post-Graduate.
Key Responsibilities:
General Accounting:
o Oversee and manage daily accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR).
o Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
o Prepare and review financial statements and reports in accordance with accounting standards.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
o Manage billing, invoicing, and collections processes.
o Monitor AP & AR aging.
o Ensure timely payment to vendors and management of payables.
Compliance & Auditing: o Ensure adherence to tax regulations and filing requirements, including GST/TDS/ TCS and other relevant taxes.
o Assist in coordinating internal and external audits, ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and automation within the accounting function.
o Ensure the accounting system is fully utilized and recommend upgrades as needed.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance
2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the travel industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software (Zoho Books, ERP) and Excel.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with accounts payable, receivable, and Bank reconciliations.
