Finance Controller/Manager (Vasai (Mumbai), India)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced individual to join our finance team in Vasai (Mumbai) as a Finance Controller/Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing financial activities, bridge between business units and corporate finance and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role demands comprehensive understanding of Indian financial regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Manage and optimize financial resources along with quality cost management (scrap, customer claims, blocked inventory, etc.). Be interface between business units and corporate functions. Responsible for creating or building a process for finance function
- Budget & Forecasting: Develop and manage the budgeting process, financial forecasts and action plans based on control measures. Monitor and improve cost and industrial performance
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure high level of internal control and statutory and legal/regulatory compliance.
- Financial Reporting & Audit: Prepare monthly IFRS closing and group reporting compliant with company guideline. Facilitate internal and external audits and present annual financial statements to senior management and stakeholders.
- Financial Strategy: Collaborate with management to develop financial strategies and long term financial plans
- Treasury: Monitor cash flow, treasury operations, and manage tax planning and reporting
Qualification
- 8+ Years of working experience as Finance Controller / Manager ideally in industrial or manufacturing sector
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or similar field along with CA or ICWA or related qualification is highly desirable
- Expertise in budgeting, Indian financial regulations, taxation, and compliance
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Know-how in financial CRM tools
- Fluent in English
