Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive
Accounts and Finance Manager to manage the daily financial operations of our
Pharma company in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of Accounting software like Tally
, SAP & other statutory compliance related (GST & TDS) budgeting, and cost control.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Accounting department including Accounts Payable/receivables, Fixed Assets, Bank reconciliations and General Ledger.
- Lead the Finance & Accounts function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with Indian statutory laws and internal policies.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budget forecasts, MIS reports, and variance analyses.
- Oversee and control project cash flows, working capital, and fund management to ensure optimal liquidity for operations.
- Supervise compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, Labour Cess, and other regulatory requirements under Indian law.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax advisors, banks, and government authorities.
- Implement or upgrade ERP/accounting systems for efficient project and finance management.
- Ensure & coordinate for timely vendor payments, client invoicing, collection follow-ups, and reconciliations.
- Prepare reports for board meetings and participate in strategic financial planning and risk management.
- Lead and manage a team of finance professionals and accountants across project sites and corporate office.
Key Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields. Candidates with additional qualifications like MBA (Finance) or CMA will be preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of finance and accounting experience, preferably in a Pharma industry.
- Proven experience in project finance, cost control & Indian tax laws.
- Strong understanding of Indian regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to Pharma industry.
- Proficient in ERP, MS Excel, and financial modelling tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
