Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Field Sales Specialist role based in Coonoor. The Field Sales Specialist will visit prospective and existing customers, present flooring products and solutions, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. Responsibilities include identifying and qualifying leads, conducting product demonstrations, preparing quotations, and following up to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business. The role also involves maintaining accurate sales records, reporting on pipeline and performance, and coordinating with internal teams on inventory, delivery, and customer requirements. The Field Sales Specialist will represent the company in the local market, build strong relationships with contractors, architects, retailers, and end customers, and support marketing or promotional activities as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication skills to present products clearly, handle negotiations, and build professional relationships.
  • Customer Service abilities to understand client needs, resolve issues promptly, and maintain long-term customer satisfaction.
  • Sales and Lead Generation skills to identify prospects, convert leads into customers, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Sales Operations experience to manage visits, maintain accurate records, and provide timely reports on sales activities and forecasts.
  • Prior field sales experience in building materials, flooring, or related industries is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in the field, plan routes efficiently, and manage time effectively.
  • Basic proficiency with CRM tools, spreadsheets, and mobile communication tools.
  • Valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler license and willingness to travel within Coonoor and nearby areas.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
