We are looking for a Field Sales Executive who is willing to travel across India to generate new business opportunities, develop strong customer relationships, and drive business growth for our precision motor and motion control solutions.

Job Description

We are seeking a high-energy, technically savvy, and self-motivated Field Sales Executive to drive revenue growth, expand our market footprint, and manage critical customer relationships on the ground. You will be responsible for converting marketing-generated inquiries, conducting cold outreach, and managing existing corporate accounts to maximize lifetime value through upselling and exceptional relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Inbound Conversion
  • Proactively identify and generate new business leads within target manufacturing and industrial engineering sectors.
  • Own and quickly qualify inbound sales inquiries routed from digital marketing, exhibitions, and other channels.
  • Turn warm leads into face-to-face consultative meetings.
  • Field Sales, Client Visits & Upselling
  • Conduct on-site corporate visits to prospects who have shared active inquiries, presenting tailored product pitches and technical solutions.
  • Execute strategic cold visits to targeted manufacturing hubs and industrial zones to build a fresh pipeline.
  • Perform routine courtesy visits to existing customers to ensure high satisfaction, understand evolving needs, and aggressively pitch upselling/cross-selling opportunities.
  • Relationship Management & Follow-ups
  • Build, nurture, and maintain long-term professional relationships with procurement managers, R&D heads, and design engineers.
  • Ensure rigorous, timely, and persistent follow-ups across all stages of the sales cycle to accelerate deal closures.
  • Reporting, Documentation & Analytics
  • Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date daily records of all field visits, calls, and client conversations.
  • Draft precise Minutes of Meetings (MOMs) after critical client interactions and share them with internal technical/management teams.
  • Compile and present structured weekly/monthly sales reports, tracking activities against performance benchmarks and revenue targets.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven track record in field sales, business development, or industrial sales (B2B technical sales experience highly preferred).
  • Domain Knowledge: A strong foundational understanding of engineering and technical concepts.
  • Prior knowledge or experience in motion control systems, electric motors, or automation is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity or experience with the drone and defense industry is a distinct advantage.
  • Communication Skills: Confident, persuasive spoken language skills and strong, professional business writing capability (for emails, proposals, and MOMs).
  • Attributes: Self-motivated, highly resilient, and driven by targets. Must possess excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively (Pan India) for field visits and client meetings.
