About the RoleWe are looking for a passionate and field-oriented Sales Executive to promote and sell our fertilizer productsincluding Organic Fertilizer, DAP, and Ureawhile educating farmers on proper usage, benefits, and best agricultural practices. The role involves market exploration, dealer/retailer development, and direct engagement with farmers to drive brand awareness and sales.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Market Development- Promote and sell company fertilizers (Organic, DAP, Urea) to farmers, dealers, and agri-retailers.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets in assigned territories.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the market footprint.
- Maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key influencers.
Farmer Education & Product Demonstration- Conduct farmer meetings, field demos, and plot trials.
- Explain product benefits, recommended dosages, crop-wise application schedules, and cost-saving advantages.
- Provide agronomic support and address farmer queries.
Market Intelligence- Gather and report competitor activities, pricing, farmer trends, and market demand.
- Suggest strategies to improve sales growth and customer engagement.
Documentation & Reporting- Maintain sales records, visit reports, and customer feedback data.
- Coordinate with the head office for stock availability, marketing materials, and promotional activities.
Required Skills- Strong understanding of agriculture, fertilizers, and crop management.
- Good communication and farmer-handling skills.
- Ability to conduct fieldwork and travel extensively.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, mobile apps for reporting).
- Ability to explain and demonstrate agricultural products clearly.
