About the Role

We are looking for a Fashion Designer who can independently develop and create products for the brand. The candidate should have a strong understanding of fashion design, patterns, fabrics, garment construction, and production.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop new products and collections for the brand.

- Create designs based on the brand's identity, target customer, and market trends.

- Develop design concepts, sketches, silhouettes, and styles.

- Select suitable fabrics, colours, trims, and embellishments for the designs.

- Create and coordinate tech packs, measurements, and design specifications.

- Have a good understanding of pattern making and garment construction.

- Coordinate with the production team to convert designs into finished products.

- Work closely with pattern masters, tailors, artisans, and vendors during product development.

- Review samples and suggest changes related to fit, measurements, construction, and finishing.

- Ensure the final product matches the approved design and quality standards.

- Manage the design-to-production process and ensure products are developed within timelines.

- Research current fashion trends, fabrics, techniques, and competitor products for new ideas.

- Develop new styles while maintaining consistency with the brand's aesthetic.

- Coordinate with merchandising and production teams for smooth execution of collections.

Skills Required

- 1-3 years of experience in Fashion Design / Product Development.

- Strong understanding of design, patterns, silhouettes, fabrics, and garment construction.

- Good knowledge of the production process.

- Ability to independently develop products from concept to final sample.

- Strong creative and visual sense.

- Experience with designer, luxury, ethnic, or premium fashion brands will be an advantage.
