Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Farm Supervisor, based in Mawal. The Farm Supervisor will oversee daily farm operations, manage resources and personnel, and ensure that farming activities are carried out efficiently to meet targets. Responsibilities include monitoring livestock or crop health, organizing and supervising farm maintenance, coordinating schedules for farmworkers, ensuring compliance with safety and agricultural standards, and managing inventories and supplies.
Qualifications
- Experience in farm management, including resource allocation, and task scheduling.
- Strong understanding of livestock care or crop management, including health assessment and treatment practices.
- Proven organizational and leadership skills to supervise and coordinate farm staff effectively.
- Knowledge of agricultural machinery operation and routine maintenance practices.
- Proficiency in ensuring compliance with agricultural safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to provide clear direction.
- Flexibility to adapt to various farming challenges and hands-on problem-solving skills.
- A background in agricultural science or related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar on-site role is a plus.
