Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Facility Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day maintenance, safety, and operational functions of our manufacturing facility in Bhiwandi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the plant infrastructure and equipment are running smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage overall facility operations including building maintenance, housekeeping, electricals, plumbing, HVAC, and security.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts), repairs, and service requirements.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Monitor the upkeep of machinery, infrastructure, and utilities to minimize downtime.
Handle preventive maintenance schedules and emergency repairs.
Manage facility staff and support teams (cleaning, security, maintenance).
Optimize facility operating costs and maintain facility budgets.
Maintain records of inspections, maintenance logs, and statutory compliances (fire safety, lift, DG, etc.).
Coordinate with internal departments (Production, HR, Admin) for facility-related needs.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Facility Management, Engineering, or related field.
4+ years of experience in facility or plant management (preferably in manufacturing or industrial setups).
Strong understanding of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.).
Good communication and team management skills.
Proficiency in using MS Office and facility management software (if any).
Knowledge of statutory compliance related to factory operations is a plus.
