Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Facility Manager to oversee the smooth functioning of all day-to-day administrative operations at our institute's offline campus. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing security, housekeeping, maintenance, vendor coordination, and ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient working environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily facility operations, including security, housekeeping, maintenance, pantry, and office administration.
- Supervise housekeeping, maintenance, and security staff to ensure adherence to company standards.
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for office equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, and other infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Manage relationships with vendors and service providers; negotiate contracts, ensure timely delivery of services, and monitor performance.
- Monitor and control facility-related expenses to stay within budget.
- Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, vendor contracts, and safety inspections.
- Coordinate office moves, seating arrangements, and space planning as required.
- Regularly inspect the facility to identify areas of improvement and ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
- Support in organizing company events, visitor management, and other administrative functions.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Facility Manager, Admin Manager, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of facility management operations, including security, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with safety and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in using facility management software/tools is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
