Role: F&B Sales Manager

Job Summary

The Food & Beverage (F&B) Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for restaurants, banquet facilities, or catering operations. This role focuses on prospecting new clients, retaining existing customers, and optimizing catering/event sales through effective negotiation and marketing.

Core Responsibilities

  • Actively solicit, book, and plan corporate meetings, social events, and catering opportunities to meet or exceed revenue goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to foster repeat business.
  • Negotiate contract terms, including pricing, menus, and event details, while adhering to company profitability guidelines.
  • Analyze local market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Communicate detailed, accurate function sheets (BEOs) to the operational departments to ensure successful event execution.
  • Monitor sales performance, generate reports for senior management, and participate in forecasting future sales.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience in sales, with a focus on F&B, banquets, or hospitality.
  • Strong ability to manage relationships, lead teams, and work under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presentations and negotiations.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and venue management systems.
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or Hospitality Management preferred.
